Uprising of the world from pandemic

I remember those days when we couldn't perceive the boundary between day and night, days of trauma and nightmares. People around the globe fell prey to a malady and lost their lives. Our life ahead became nebulous, it placed our life under a cloud. Students around the world graduated without caps and gowns into uncertainties Laborers hit their rock bottom, they dwelled under joblessness. Youngsters were cordoned from their work spaces, stymieing their career growth and social prowess.  That couldn't prevent our stride ahead, brick by brick we started to build our ruined fort again. Plucky front line workers to youngsters enacted the role of superheroes in our life, freeing the world from the monstrous hand of the pandemic. It opened an era of hopes  and possibilities, rebuilding ourselve...

Pilgrimage through Paulo Coelho's 'Hippie'

We all are lonely spirits lost in the forest called life.  The path that lies ahead is always crooked. We have to go through many diversions, twist and turns to reach our destination.  We have to lose many things in between. Our success always comes at a cost, which include heavy losses, loneliness, misunderstandings etc. These life diversions are unique and custom made for each one of us.       Hippie by Paulo Coelho is set in the  backdrop of the hippie movement of 1970s.  This movement which originated in United States, later  spread to various parts of the  world including Europe. During this time, youth started to question the existing norms of the society and they started to pursue  free spirited life.  The protagonists Paulo and Karla were part of this new counterculture. This autobiographical novel by Paulo Coelho  also shows us the triumphs undergone by the younger self of author on his journey to become...

Forfeited Wings

Every time I find an airplane flying sun wards. I know somewhere from within my dreams budding. Those bruises are still afresh, those scathing remarks which killed me. Once I was convivial like a free bird , who wants to float among the clouds to be an "air hostess". To visit distant lands , to meet different people. To taste different cuisines and culture. I wanted to touch million hearts. The society has cuffed my wings and chained my heart they secluded me from my dreams. I was forced to things I was least prepared for. But they made me an ace in it. Now my hands are full, eyes are weary. But somewhere within I know I haven't lost it all. The dotting face of my infant daughter force me to fight force me to write for the ones like me, for posterity.
